1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or utilizing mindmirror.in(the “Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
2. Nature of Platform and Services
MindMirror delivers standardized, open-source mental wellness questionnaires (such as GAD-7, PHQ-9, autism quotients, and ADHD self-reports) in a clean, client-side digital format.
You explicitly understand and agree that the Platform:
- Does NOT diagnose any medical condition, mental disorder, or neurodevelopmental profile.
- Does NOT provide medical treatment, therapy, or direct psychiatric counseling.
- Does NOT create an intermediary doctor-patient or client-therapist relationship.
- Is NOT a crisis helpline or real-time emergency intervention platform.
Always review results with a licensed psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or primary care provider to obtain diagnostic clarity.
3. User Eligibility
The Platform is built for adult use. You must be at least 18 years of age to navigate these assessments and interface with our digital systems. By accessing the site, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Conduct
4.1 Permitted Use
You may utilize the platform to complete questionnaires, monitor your scores in local storage, read resource pages, and download PDF reports to share with your personal healthcare team.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful purpose under Indian law.
- Misrepresent score outputs or fabricate PDF files for official, insurance, or employment validation.
- Attempt to bypass, hack, or compromise the local storage protocols or API endpoints.
- Deploy automated scrapers, indexers, or query scripts that tax Platform bandwidth.
- Reproduce, copy, or republish the design system, custom scripts, or proprietary codebase of the Platform.
5. Intellectual Property
The Platform's custom layout code, responsive graphics, branding structure, and customized interactive systems (including Calm Space exercises) are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 in India.
The underlying clinical assessment scales (like GAD-7, PHQ-9, LSRP, etc.) are standardized public-domain instruments. Their digital implementation, interface, and visual styling on this site are proprietary.
6. Liability and Warranties Disclaimer
The Platform and its components are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any sort, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, MindMirror, its developers, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from reliance on assessment scores, temporary server downtime, data loss inside browser cache, or interactions with third-party directories.
7. Governing Law and Arbitration (Ahmedabad, India)
These Terms and your use of MindMirror are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms that cannot be settled amicably within 30 days shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
The seat of arbitration shall be Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English. Subject to arbitration, the courts of Ahmedabad shall hold exclusive jurisdiction.
